Area under GNIDA
This industrial area is strategically placed at the convergence of two dedicated freight corridors: the Western and Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors. New Delhi is located inside the National Capital Region, which includes the country’s capital city of New Delhi. It is near Noida, one of the most significant industrial townships in the world.
The integrated township is on its way to becoming India’s most innovative city and the most advanced urban development hub in the National Capital Region and the region’s fastest-growing centre of attraction. It has emerged as a contemporary example of forward-thinking urban development.
Departments of GNIDA
A total of 15 departments fall under GNIDA, including IT & biotech, urban and rural services, health, skill development, etc.

In addition to offering amenities and infrastructure of global standards, the city is being constructed across 20,000 hectares with broad roadways, underground cabling systems, and drainage systems in place. Among them are prestigious educational institutions, shopping malls, medical facilities, theme parks and entertainment complexes that have been designed with aesthetics in mind—and even a 222-acre international designer golf course, among other things.
Department of business development
153.63 hectares of land in Greater Noida has been set aside for commercial activities in designated areas. Shopping malls, multiplexes, and easy sector shopping are examples of these options. These are accessible in several different sectors and the surrounding residential neighbourhoods. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority regularly floats several recurring projects for commercial sector allotments. Plots, built-up space, kiosk facilities, and other types of commercial real estate are among the avenues for investment.
Department of industrial zones
Ecotech is an exclusive industrial zone in Greater Noida, with entry privileges limited for members of the Ecotech community. Polluting enterprises are barred from establishing themselves in this region. However, for those who are permitted entry, the authority assures expedited clearances and approvals and financial incentives to encourage the completion of projects as soon as possible. A successful single-table functioning ensures that projects are completed within a month, and an empowered committee constantly checks these initiatives’ development.
Greater Noida is among the most sought-after investment destinations in the NCR because of excellent industrial investment, particularly multinational investment, owing to its proximity to Delhi and the successful single-window system that allows for quick decision-making and permissions in a streamlined manner.
