On September 15, 2003, the Gujarat Electrical Board (GEB) created Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited. Through its 129 sub division offices and 21 division offices spread across its operational area, which is divided into four circles, the company provides services to more than 50 lakh consumers who fall into a variety of categories. These categories include residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and others. Steps to pay bill on the UGVCL portal
Paying UGVCL bills is easy. Follow the steps outlined below.
- To begin, go to the official UGVCL portal.
- On the home page, you will find the quick link pop-up.
- Select “ Click here to pay electricity bills online.”
- You will be redirected to the payment page.
- Scroll down and enter your 11-digit consumer number with the captcha code.
- After verifying your details, click the check consumer number to validate your Payment Details and begin processing.
- The payment page will redirect you to the Payment Gateway.
- After payment processing has been completed, the Payment Acknowledgement will be shown.
- By pressing the Print button, a copy of the payment confirmation can be printed.
- In this way, you will be able to pay your bill effectively online.
UGVCL: Processing fee when users pay by BillDesk/Paytm
- No net Banking charges for the first transaction on a bill. Processing fees of Rs 2.50 per transaction will be charged to customers who make more than one transaction on a single bill.
- For transactions up to Rs 2000.00/- plus applicable service tax, a fee of 0.75 per cent of the transaction amount is levied; for transactions beyond Rs. 2000.00/- plus applicable service tax, a fee of 0.85 percent is charged.
- The user will be charged transaction processing fees for Credit Cards equal to 0.85 per cent of the transaction amount plus applicable service tax, subject to a minimum of Rs 5.00/- plus applicable service tax.
- For a single transaction per bill, Wallet and other EBPP channels are free. Processing fees of Rs 2.50 per transaction will be charged to customers who make more than one transaction on a single bill.

- To begin, go to the official site of the UGVCL portal.
- On the home page, you will find the quick link pop-up.
- Select “Click here to View Bill, Payment and update mobile & Email Id.”
- You will be redirected to a new page.
- Here, after entering your consumer number, you can avail of the following services
- View Consumer Master Details.
- Last Bill information and download eBill.
- Last Payment information.
- Online Payment Link.
- Download NEFT / RTGS Payment Form.
- Add / Update mobile number and email address for alerts.

- Go to the play store.
- Type “UGVCL”
- Simply select the first application that shows up.

UGVCL: Steps to apply for new connection
- To begin, go to the official UGVCL portal.
- Head to the “Consumer Portal” section on the homepage in the bottom right corner of your screen.
- A new page will open once you select the link.
- Click on “Register now.”
- You will be redirected to an application portal.
- From the drop-down tab, select “UGVL”.
- To successfully apply for a new connection, you must provide all the necessary information.

Procedure to get new LT connection
The application must be submitted in the specified A1 form, which is offered without charge at the S/Dn. Office, together with the registration fees that are outlined below.

Estimate
Following the registration of the demand, an estimate will be provided that details the service line/line fee as well as the security deposit in accordance with the technical survey report.

Before beginning work, a person who wants to connect a three-phase industrial or agricultural facility to the power grid is required to sign an agreement with DISCOM in which they acknowledge the terms pertaining to the tariff and any other requirements of the supply code.

Execution Of Work
Immediately after the receipt of the cash for the estimate and the completion of the agreement, the line works will be taken up on hand.

Disconnection and release of links
For the actual release of electricity, an applicant is required to provide the test report in addition to the Rs. 50/- TR costs; failing to do so would result in the connection being deemed released after the passage of two months.
