ITR login: Registration

To start income tax e filing login, you should first register yourself on the portal. In this section, we explain the process.

Step 1: Visit the ITR e filing portal and click on the ‘Register Yourself’ button.

Step 2: Input your PAN and validate it. If your PAN is not registered on the e filing portal, an error message will be displayed.

Step 7: Select a password. While setting it, be mindful of the following:

• It should have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 14 characters

Step 8: You are now registered to use ITR login on the income tax e filing portal. Click on ‘Proceed to Login’.

Step 1: Go to the income tax e filing website and click on the ‘Login’ option.
