JBVNL portal: Steps to register
- Go to the official site of the JBVNL portal.
- Head to the ‘consumer services’ section.
- Hover your cursor to ‘new connection’ and click on ‘suvidha portal(LT)/Modification.’
- You will be redirected to a new page.
- Now, at the bottom of the page, select ‘new user’.
- Next, complete the fields labelled ‘First Name’ and ‘Last Name.’
- Please include your email address, mobile phone number, and district.
- Next, choose the checkbox that says ‘I’m not a robot,’ and then select ‘Register.’
- Following this, the user ID and password will be shown in the email ID, and the mobile number will be supplied.
JBVNL: Steps to check your electricity bill
- To begin, go to the official site of the JBVNL portal.
- Head to the ‘consumer services’ section.
- Select ‘energy bill payment.’
- You will be redirected to a new page
- After that, choose one of the following Search Bill options – Consumer No or Bill No.
- Only one of these ‘Consumer No.’ options has to be selected. After that, you will be able to see the most recent bill. Because when you check the bill number, the amount that is now owed on that account will be shown,
- Once you have done so, pick the ‘Sub Division’ option and then input the ‘Consumer No.’
- Next, click the ‘Submit’ button. Following this step, you will be able to see Consumer Basic Details, Current Bill Dues, as well as monthly wise billing details.

- Now, Consumer Basic Details will be shown, and inside ‘Current Dues,’ the Electricity Bill will also be displayed for your convenience.
- Click on the Action View of SN0# 1 section located at the very top of the ‘Monthly Wise Billing Details’ page to make a payment on your energy bill.
- Following this step, you will see a total of three buttons: Print Bill, Online Payment, NEFT/RTGS Payment, etc.
- To make a payment on your power bill, choose ‘Online Payment’ from the menu. After that, the entire bill will be shown.
- After that, you will need to make a payment by clicking the ‘Pay Now’ button and using your debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, EMI, or wallet.

- To begin, go to the official site of the JBVNL Portal.
- Go to the consumer/citizen corner.
- Simply choose the “smart metre request” option.
- A new page will open.
- Complete the form, then click the ‘Submit’ button.
Steps to update mobile number on the JBVNL Account
- To begin, go to the JBVNL Portal.
- Look for the link labelled ‘Update Mobile Number’ on the home page.
- You will be redirected to a new page.
- Fill in the relevant details such as ‘Consumer Number,’ ‘Subdivision,’ and ‘Address.’
- Simply type in the phone number that you want to update.
- Now click the ‘Next’ button.
- The one-time password (OTP) will now be sent to the cellphone number supplied. Verify by entering OTP. You may add a number on the mobile JBVNL site by following these steps.

- Head to the “consumer services” section.
- Click on “web self-services” from the dropdown menu.
- You will be redirected to a new portal.
- On the menu, go to the “complaints” section and click on register complaints.
- After this, a form will pop up for you to fill out, in which you may pick things like the Complaint Category, Office Address, Consumer Search Criteria, and so on.
