SBI Quick Missed Call Banking: Everything you should know

State Bank of India has launched SBI Quick – Missed Call banking feature that customers can use, for banking operations. With SBI Quick, customers can either give a missed call or send an SMS to numbers with predefined keywords. The SBI Quick-missed call banking feature can be activated on registered mobile numbers linked with SBI accounts. What makes SBI Quick different from other SBI services like State Bank Anywhere or State Bank Freedom, is that a user does not need a login ID and password to access the service. Note, SBI Quick does not support financial transactions.

You can also proceed with your banking-related work through the SBI Quick mobile app, available on Google Play store (Android) and App store (Apple).

Note that using the SBI Quick service on the app does not require an active internet service as all the information can be received through missed call or SMS.

SBI Quick: Registration

For the one-time registration, a user must send an SMS to 09223488888 from the registered mobile number linked to their SBI account.

The format is REG<space> account number.

For example, REG 00112233445 to 09223488888

Once the SMS is sent, you will receive an acknowledgement message from SBI Quick that will state if the registration was successful or not. If the registration is successful, you can start using SBI Quick. If the registration has been denied, check if the SMS format was typed correctly. Next, check if the message was sent from the registered mobile number and the account number was correct. In case you want to use a new mobile number, update the mobile number with your bank branch and then, register for SBI Quick.

SBI Quick: Balance enquiry

To know your balance, give a missed call to 9223766666. Alternatively, send an SMS with the format – BAL to 9223766666

SBI Quick: Mini statement

To get a mini statement, give a missed call to 9223766666. Alternatively, send an SMS with the format – MSTMT to 9223766666.You will receive the last five transaction details for the registered account.

SBI Quick: ATM card block

If a customer has lost his/her ATM card, enter the last four digits of the debit card and send an SMS to 567676 to block the card.

SBI Quick: ATM card control

For activating/deactivating ATM features, POS, e-commerce, and international and domestic usage, send an SMS from the registered mobile to 09223588888 with the parameter for which you need the details for in the format- SWON <parameter>XXXX, where XXXX is the last four digits of the debit card.

  • ATM – ATM transactions
  • DOM – Domestic transactions
  • ECOM – e Commerce transactions
  • INTL – International transactions
  • POS – Merchant POS transactions

To get information about car loan or home loan, send an SMS with the format – CAR or HOME to 09223588888. You will receive the details from SBI Quick, followed by a call from an SBI executive.

SBI Quick: Prime minister social security schemes

To enroll for the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), send an SMS to 09223588888 from the registered mobile number as PMJJBY<space>A/C number<space>Nominee_Relationship<space>Nominee_Fname<space>Nominee_Lname

Using the SBI Quick mobile app, you can register for the PMSBY, PMJJBY or the Atal Pension Yojana (APY). On the SBI Quick app, click on ‘Social Security Schemes’ and choose your scheme. Enter the required details – account number to debit, nominee first name, nominee last name, relationship with nominee and nominee’s date of birth and press ‘Submit’.
