ServicePlus online: All about the integrated portal for government services

[ecis2016.org] The ServicePlus portal aims to make government services accessible to the common man in his locality.

The ServicePlus portal is an innovative initiative that brings the benefits of various services and government schemes directly to citizens of the country. More than 2,400 services have been launched and more than 33 states have been covered on this online portal. It has been designed as a single, one-stop destination for all citizens, to access information on all socio-economic development programmes and facilities being provided by the central and state governments. The portal can be accessed at https://serviceonline.gov.in/.

ServicePlus is a multi-tenant integrated platform for providing residents with electronic services. It has been developed as part of Panchayat Enterprise Suite (PES) under the e panchayat Mission Mode Project (MMP). Interested citizens of the country who wish to take advantage of all of the government’s facilities and plans can easily register online on this web portal. You will have to create a user ID and password before you can utilise the services on it.

The central and state governments started the ServicePlus portal, to minimise the need for people to go to government offices to get the benefits of government schemes and services. Through the internet, residents can take advantage of all the services being provided, based on their state. This will save time.
