What is the PM Kisan Yojana?

Funded completely by the central government, the PM Kisan scheme became operational on December 1, 2018. Under the scheme, an income support of Rs 6,000 per year is provided to all land-holding farmer families. A family gets three equal installments of Rs 2,000 between April-July, August-November and December-March.
