7 methods to download and print your Aadhaar Card

[ecis2016.org] In this article, we discuss the different ways to download and print an Aadhaar card.

The Indian government has made it obvious that it intends to push towards e-governance across the majority of its services. This action is intended to reduce corruption and increase transparency. Aadhaar is one of the most important efforts within the e-governance offering. The Unique Identity Authority of India (UIDAI) issues Aadhaar, a 12-digit identification number, to all Indian citizens.

Aadhaar enrollment requires only one visit to a permanent enrolment office. This document is also used as confirmation of identification and address proof throughout the country. e-Aadhaar is a password-protected electronic copy of the Aadhaar. It is digitally signed by an authority of the UIDAI.
