Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has bought a beach-front villa in Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah for a whopping $80 million, Bloomberg reported. According to the report this is the city’s biggest-ever residential property deal.

The purchase, which was concluded earlier in 2022, is meant as a gift for Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani, his youngest son and one of the three heirs to billionaire industrialist’s wealth, along with siblings Isha Ambani and Akash Ambani
Palm Jumeirah is an archipelago of artificial islands in Dubai and a renowned destination for uber-luxurious residences and hotels.
Located towards the northern side of the area, the new acquisition of Ambani has 10 bedrooms, a private spa and indoor and outdoor pools, among other facilities. Ambani’s neighbours at his new home would be football sensation David Beckham and Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, the report said, quoting anonymous sources.

With a net-worth of $93.3 billion, Ambani is the world’s 11th richest person, according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index and owns the world’s second most expensive home, Antilia in Mumbai.
In April 2021, Mukesh Ambani purchased the iconic Stoke Park estate— which included a luxury hotel and one of the top-rated golf courses in Europe—for £57 million (Rs 592 crore).
