The story is fast-moving with flashbacks to Malcolm’s past and a glimpse of the future at the story’s end. That glimpse is a real bummer. – Amazon Review

BOOK REVIEWS:This novel is a fine starting point for a new series, but if you haven’t read the previous series, some of the background events and characters may be lost on the reader. Jade and Amber do not play a major role in this novel, but some of the action and players, including other law enforcement officers, actually took place in previous works. As a continuation of a previous storyline, this book works well, but as the first in a series, it seems to be starting in the middle. – Amazon Reviewer
