Because it is based on real-life, you might assume that Truman Capotes In Cold Blood have resolved all the mystery. One of the most famous crime stories ever written, this nonfiction novel could not be more wrong.
Four members of the Clutter family were brutally killed by shots from a shotgun just inches from their faces on November 15, a small town in 1959, in Holcomb, Kansas. The motive for the crime was not apparent, and there were very few clues.
Capote was closely following the case of the quadruple Kansas murder and was performing some interviews before the killers were caught. His book is full of twists and turns that you wouldn’t expect.
