WBSEDCL: Prepaid and postpaid consumers
In an electrical system with prepaid billing, customers pay their power bills in advance, while in an electricity system with postpaid billing, customers pay their electricity bills after they have used the service. Customers who have their energy bills paid in advance are in a position to directly monitor the amount of energy they spend, whereas post-paid customers cannot directly oversee the amount of energy they are spending.
Prepaid and postpaid consumers can access a variety of internet services, such as recharging their accounts, seeing their account balances, viewing their payment histories, viewing the history of voucher production, and viewing basic information about themselves.
