  • The Unique Disability Identification Card will serve as the single document of identification for disabled citizens and help them obtain the various benefits and privileges that the government and private organizations offer.
  • The UDID card would track beneficiaries’ physical and financial success at all levels of the implementation hierarchy, including the village, block, district, state, and national.
  • Citizens can fill out and submit their registration applications online, which can help prevent duplication of data. This can improve accuracy and efficiency in the healthcare system.
  • This card will also help track beneficiaries’ progress toward reaching the goals they have set, leading to an improved standard of living.

Mechanism of UDID card

  • You have to create an account on the web portal if you’re a person with a disability.
  • Citizens can apply for a disability certificate and a UDID card online after registering at the website.
  • Citizens can also follow the progress of their application.
  • The portal will also accept requests to renew a disability certificate or a UDID card.
  •  If a citizen’s card is lost, they can get a new one using the web portal.
  • The UDID card can be printed and downloaded.
  • The portal can also locate the chief medical officer (CMO) for medical authorities.
  • The disability certificate will be sent to you after receiving the necessary information through the site.

  • The applicant must be a long-term resident of India.
  • A person with a disability must apply.
  • Ration card with Aadhar card
  • Certificate of Income Certificate of Residence
  • Certificate of Caste
  • Photo of yourself that is the size of a passport
  • Phone/Mobile number
