The flyover would especially benefit commuters going towards sector-10, Kadipur, Basai, Jhajjar and Sultanpur, as they can now opt for a straighter route from Hero Honda Chowk, instead of having to pass the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza. “The commuters travelling to other parts of the country, like Jainpur-Ajmer, Ahmedabad and Mumbai, will also benefit from this flyover,” said Khattar.

The flyover has been constructed as part of three-layer crossing project, worth Rs 198 crores, at Hero Honda Chowk that includes existing roads and an underpass, which is under-construction. “The underpass construction will be completed by December this year,” he said.
Khattar said his government was giving special emphasis on the development of Gurugram. “Development projects in Gurugram, which had been stalled, are now being executed in a speedy manner. Projects worth crores of rupees are in progress here,” he said.
