According to union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari, the Mumbai-Goa highway will be completed by 2023 and will greatly impact the region’s development in a positive way. The Mumbai Goa highway will be extended till Mangalore. He added that if government land became available on the Mumbai-Goa Highway, steps to help set up a logistics park and truck terminal would be provided.
