Jomir Tothya is the West Bengal government’s official mobile app for land and land reform-related services. It is available in three languages, Bengali, English and Hindi for the ease of citizens.

The Jomir Tothya app was launched in 2019, with a view to make land-related transactions easy, without having to make frequent visits to the land departments’ offices. You can download this app from the Play Store. With the Jomir Tothya app, you will be able to access information regarding khatian, plot, land conversion, fee details, officer details and track cases.

How to obtain information regarding Khatian on Jomir Tothya?

Step 1: Open the Jomir Tothya application and choose the language of your choice, whether Bangla, Hindi or English. You will be asked to confirm your choice. Click ‘Yes’ to proceed or ‘No’ to change your selection.

Step 2: Choose ‘Khatian Information’ from the list of services available on the Jomir Tothya app.

Step 3: Select the location – district, block and mouza where the property is located and proceed.

Step 4: Enter the Khatian number to see the details. Find out information about the mouza, ownership of Khatian, name of the owner, type of owner, father or husband’s name, address, the number of plots mentioned in the Khatian, total area mentioned in the Khatian and more.

How to obtain plot information on Jomir Tothya?

Step 1: Choose the ‘Plot information’ icon on the service list page.

Step 2: Enter location details – district, block and mouza. You can choose the location from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Enter ‘Plot number’ in the required field to proceed and get information about the plot. This includes information like Khatian numbers of co-sharers of the plot, land classification, shared areas, tenant type, details about the owner, etc.

How to get RS-LR details on Banglarbhumi app?

Step 1: Click on the ‘RS-LR Details’ icon on the service list to proceed.

Step 2: Enter the location details. You can choose this from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Choose whether you wish to convert RS to LR or LR to RS. Note that LR refers to Land Reforms (1955) and RS refers to Revisional Settlement (1962). Enter the plot number to find information about convertible land.

Calculate fee details on Jomir Tothya

Step 1: Click on the ‘Fee Details’ icon on the service list page.

Step 2: Enter the location – district, block and mouza accurately.

Step 3: Proceed to select the category of service that you wish to avail of – whether conversion, mutation or warish enrolment. Enter other required information such as Khatian number, plot number as also the purpose, that is, activities allied to agriculture, homestead, group housing or industrial and commercial use. Submit this information to calculate the fee.

How to get officer details on Jomir Tothya app?

Step 1: Choose ‘Officer details’ on the service list page.

Step 2: Enter the location where the property is located to find out the officer in charge in the particular location. You will get the complete list of officers serving in the area with their contact details.

How to track case status on Jomir Tothya?

Step 1: Click on ‘Case Status’.

Step 2: Enter the location where the property/land is located.

Step 3: Opt for ‘Case-wise search’ or ‘Deed-wise search’ to proceed. Under case-wise search, you will be required to enter the case number. For deed-wise search, you will need to enter the deed number and year, to find the relevant information. You will be able to check hearing notice, investigation or mutation with the Jomir Tothya app.
