Design inspiration
This Oshiwara-based property at Windsor Grand Residences in Mumbai, is designed keeping in mind a modern classical architecture. Spread over 3,000 sq ft, this 4BHK home exudes warmth and opulence. Each room has its own individual style, as per its usage and yet, the same design language flows throughout the house. Elements of bling, such as a bevelled mirror panelling near the main entrance, an ornate chandelier in the dining area and a black mirrored ceiling in the bathroom, have been added to infuse a sense of elegance.
Type of décor
This is an example of the modern classic décor. Lavish marble floors and muted walls set the opulent, yet, understated tone of the entire space. Touches of classic design are imbibed, by adding fluted details on ceiling coves, door panels, moldings and even the stitching in the upholstery.

Furnishing
Exquisite custom upholstery, like the digitally-quilted living room sofa and the fluted back dining chairs, add richness to the space.
Lighting
The lighting has been customised for each room, keeping with the semi-classical theme of the space.

What makes the property beautiful?
“Among all the rooms, the highlight of the house is surely the beautiful media room. It has plush wall-to-wall carpeted floors, an elevated wall-to-wall long cushioned sofa that converts into a pull-out day bed and an entire wall with a liquor display. Enveloped in muted colours and acoustically treated, the room has a 110-inch projector screen and a stunning sound system, to create the perfect setting to host a movie night with family or friends,” says Menon.
