Peninsula Land Limited, a part of the Ashok Piramal Group, on February 8, 2018, announced the launch of ‘Tower A’ comprising of 256 premium residences at its luxury project, Salsette 27, in south Mumbai’s Byculla. Salsette 27 comprises of two towers with two and three-BHK residences that offer views of the sea, Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Byculla zoo and Jijamata Udyan, along with a podium with modern age amenities, such as a pool and a clubhouse.

Byculla in south Mumbai, is well-connected through the Eastern Freeway and Eastern Express Highway. It is almost equidistant from the business hubs of Colaba and BKC. The location has social infrastructure with established schools, hospitals and restaurants. The Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) has also announced a plan to build a seven-km-long promenade between Mazagaon Docks and Wadala, akin to Marine Drive, an ecological garden that will be five times the size of the 8.9-hectare Oval Maidan and a marina, which will offer parking space for around 300 yachts.

Commenting on the launch, Nandan Piramal, director, sales and marketing, Peninsula Land Ltd said, “Byculla is set to become Mumbai’s next big growth story and a great investment destination. We had seen a great response, when we launched Tower B at Salsette 27. A lot of customers realise that Byculla is on the verge of transformation – a lot like Lower Parel and Parel a decade ago.”
