The project is expected to be completed in three years from the date of its approval, at an estimated cost of Rs 6,000 crores.

“The Lt Governor has directed the UTTIPEC to approve the Delhi government’s ambitious north-south signal-free corridor project from Signature Bridge (Wazirabad) to IGI Airport at the earliest. It is expected that the UTTIPEC will give its nod in one month,” the PWD minister said. The project will also help to decongest the city’s roads.
