Existing and proposed physical infrastructure

The under-construction Nerul-Seawoods-Uran rail network, will also connect Ulwe. Ulwe is well-connected to CBD Belapur and it is located close to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port. The Mumbai-Pune Expressway is also close to Ulwe. The proposed Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link (MTHL), will connect Navi Mumbai to Mumbai, via a 22-km road bridge and is likely to significantly push the growth in micro locations like Ulwe. The upcoming Navi Mumbai airport, will be approximately 35 kms away from Ulwe. All these proposed and under-construction connectivity through road, sea and air, are likely to boost the real estate growth in Ulwe.

The only concern, is the slow development of basic amenities such as drainage and internal road networks. With the formation of the Panvel Municipal Corporation, these problems are expected to be sorted quickly.
