Addressing one such query, Mendiratta focussed on the location potential of Faridabad. The locality is the focal point of the NCR, almost equidistant from Delhi, Noida and Gurugram. There is an added advantage of capital investment in infrastructure by the government, which indicates where the next push for development would be. Moreover, the Smart City initiative, the Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad Expressway (FNG Expressway) and the Faridabad-Gurugram Metro line, point towards Faridabad being the destination of choice for investment. Additionally, the cost of living is lesser for the same standard of living, as compared to the other parts of the NCR.

Enquiring about the construction and its cost, Ravi Jaiswal, an attendee asked, “How much construction can be done in total on 110 sq yards of plot? What would be the cost of construction?” Answering the query, Mendiratta said that if one is looking to construct without buying additional Floor Area Ratio (FAR), they can construct approximately 3,500 sq ft (including balconies, stilt and basement). With additional FAR, 4,500 sq ft (including balconies, stilt and basement) can be constructed. Also, the cost of construction depends upon one’s choice of materials and it typically ranges between Rs 1,100 per sq ft to Rs 2,500 per sq ft.
