Moreover, it has several restaurants and shops in its vicinity and is only an hour from south Mumbai, via the Bandra-Worli Sea Link,” she explains.

From Bandra west, one can reach the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Bandra-Kurla Complex and the Western Express Highway in 15 minutes, while the airport is 30 minutes away. Moreover it is well-connected to south Mumbai, central Mumbai and the western suburbs. Besides offices of the entertainment industry, businesses and consulates too are setting up their bases in Bandra west. According to Shammi Sethi, director, Rare Earth Consultancy, “Expats and high-profile businessmen want to stay in this area, as it is close to the Bandra-Kurla Complex. As a result the properties for rent in Bandra west are witnessing high demand.”

Such projects have helped residents to upgrade their lifestyle and enjoy living in a community. “The area is gradually attracting the upper-class population, due to the kind of buildings that are coming up, which offer swimming pools, gymnasiums, gardens, etc. You do not find such projects even in south Mumbai now,” says Naved Khan, a real estate agent.
